Srinagar, Mar 07 (KNO) : A couple and their three-year-old daughter were charred to death in a blaze that broke out in Sheshgari Mohalla of Khanyar area in Srinagar.
According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), officials said that fire broke out from the residential house of one Javaid Ahmad in Khanyar during an intervening night of Friday-Saturday.
They said Ahmad, his wife Sofiya and their three-year-old daughter, Hafsa was charred to death in the blaze, adding that their bodies have been recovered.
Police has started investigation into the matter and a case has also been registered, an official said—(KNO)
