Says Mudasir Was Earning Money Illegally From His Foreign Associates; ‘In Today’s Time Need Nothing More Than To Win Hearts Of People’
Srinagar, 16 November: Lt Gen D P Pandey on Tuesday said that himself being a doctor Mudasir was distracting other youth to pick up guns instead of focusing on their careers.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function at BB Cantt Srinagar, D P Pandey said that to disrupt peace a small population of people are distracting the youth of the Valley and Mudasir was one among them. “Being a doctor he used to operate a full-fledged call centre in the posh locality of Hyderpora which is not possible for a common man,” he said.
D P Pandey said that it is evident that Mudasir was earning money illegally from his foreign associates and was helping and distracting the youth to become militants.
Replying to a question, D P Pandey said that in today’s time “we need nothing more than to win the hearts of the people here. “The people of J&K (UT) have understood our aim and they have full confidence in us. We have won the trust of the people of Kashmir,” he said.
