Family of Kulgam Sexual Assault Victim Demands Hanging of Culprits

Kulgam CNS, Nov 28: the family of the “Kulgam Sexual Assault Victim” who passed way on Saturday at Srinagar hospital demanded the public hanging of the culprits involved in the heinous crime.
While talking to CNS, father of the deceased said, “when police called me that such incident has happened, I reached the police station & I was unable to identify my daughter due to grievous on her face” he added that it was only after the an hour when he managed to identify by her dress when she had wore when she left the home for marriage ceremony.
It is pertinent to mention that the victim, a resident of Poniwah village had gone to Akhal hamlet to attend a wedding ceremony that took place in the house of one Sabzar Parray. Two youth from Ashmuji village kidnapped and raped her in a dense orchard. The girl was found in semi-unconscious state and was shifted to hospital where from she was referred to Srinagar hospital for treatment,” the protest said.
The accused charlatans involved in the crime were identified as Adil Dar and Wasim Dar. The accused had arrived in the village as guests.
Police station Devsar had received a written complaint for assistance from complainant that his sister (name withheld) had been kidnapped by two persons namely Aadil Ahmad Dar and Waseem Rehman Dar both residents of Ashmuji Kulgam from Akhal and took her to nearby dense orchards and tried to rape her and also outraged her modesty and during three hours of Tiresome inputs police managed to arrest both the criminals
“Regarding the incident, case vide FIR number 116/2020 U/S 341, 366, 376/511, 354, 323 stands registered in Police Station Devsar and further investigation is in progress.”(CNS)
