IGP KASHMIR SHRI S.P PANI-IPS ACCOMPANIED WITH DIG CKR SHRI V.K.BIRDI-IPS REVIEWED SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS OF YATRA ROUTE STARTING FROM IN CENTRAL KASHMIR RANGE.
Ganderbal:In order reassure that effective security arrangements are in place on the Yatra route, Shri S.P. Pani , IGP Kashmir accompanied by DIG CKR Sh. V. K Birdi visited Panthachowk, Parimapora, Sumbal, Barsoo, Manigam transit camp and other alternate routes.
Held interaction with officers deployed on ground. It was impressed upon all officers to utilise all resources for plugging laterals, placement of QRTs at appropriate places for prompt reaction.
At transit camp Manigam the camp commander of CAPF also briefed IGP about security of campus and management of crowd as well as insuring cut offs at Manigam after beyond specified hours.
SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Poswal, briefed about the ground deployment of forces on the Yatra route from right from Sumbal upto holy cave including night domination plan for entire stretch.
A high level of vigil has been maintained and combing search operations also being conducted along entire yatra route.
