SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 22 : A Darbar was held by IGP Security J&K, Shri Alok Kumar-IPS at Security Lines Kashmir. The Darbar was attended by SSP Security Kashmir, SSP Security J&K, SSP STWS Srinagar and other officers/ officials of Security Kashmir. At the outset, Dy.SP VIP Security Kashmir presented a welcome note and gave a detailed report on the roles, responsibilities and functioning of the Security Kashmir.
The IGP interacted with the Officers/ Jawans and listened to their grievances and passed on spot directions for their redressal. IGP Security laid emphasis on all the personnel deployed on security duties to reorient themselves in order to meet the security related challenges effectively with use of modern and automated technology. Shri Alok Kumar also complimented the officers/ officials of Security Kashmir for the smooth and incident free conduct various VVIP/VIP visits/events during the year.
