Ganderbal:Cracking a whip on illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, Ganderbal Police seized 03 vehicles and arrested 03 drivers at Arch in the jurisdiction of PS Ganderbal.
On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS under the supervision of Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS Hqr’s Ganderbal, Police Party led by SHO Police Station Ganderbal during Patrolling at Arch seized 03 Tippers & arrested 03 drivers on the spot, involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals from Nallah Sindh.
The accused drivers have been identified as;BASHIR AHMAD BHAT

Accordingly, Case FIR No. 75/2024, under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Ganderbal and further investigation has been taken up.
People are requested not to indulge in any kind of illegal mining activities from any Nallah/River, as it is the violation of Government rules. Persons found indulging in illegal mining activities shall be dealt as per law.KNZ
