Srinagar, Nov 5 (GNS): Army on Sunday said that an infiltration bid was foiled in Uri sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district by killing two militants.
An army official told news agency GNS that soldiers posted at Kamalkote near Line of Control noticed some suspicious movement near the fence today in the wee hours. “The army fired some shots which were retaliated by the infiltrators. The militants fired indiscriminately and in the gunfight that ensued, two infiltrators were gunned down sofar,” he said.
He said that search operation is still going. (GNS)
