Srinagar, Feb 21: The Government of India’s interlocutor on Kashmir, Dineshwar Sharma, is set to visit the Valley on February 22.

It would be his fifth visit to the state since he was appointed special representative on Kashmir by Government of India in October last year to renew the dialogue process.

“I am ready to talk to everyone. I will be arriving on February 22. Even Hurriyat is welcome for talks,” Sharma told RK over phone from New Delhi.

He said he would again try to engage Hurriyat in talks.

“My doors are always open for everyone. I am coming to Kashmir to talk to every shade of people,” Sharma said.

He, however, didn’t elaborate about the schedule of his visit.

“I will reach Srinagar on February 22. After that I will accordingly plan about the number of days and activities,” he said.

Stating that he has decided to avoid media, Sharma said, “I am doing my work. Let me complete it first. I don’t want to land in any controversy”.

He said was “very much satisfied” with his visits to the Valley.

About 200 delegations have met Sharma during his first three visits to valley.

Sharma was appointed by the Government of India on October 23 last year to hold sustained dialogue with all stake holders in Jammu and Kashmir. (RK)
