Srinagar, December 30 : Srinagar-Jammu highway was blocked for traffic after landslides hit the road on Saturday.
“Only one-way movement of heavy-motor vehicles is being allowed on the highway from Jammu to Kashmir today. However, light-motor vehicles are allowed to ply from both sides.” a traffic official said.
He said that landslides hit the 300-km highway at Battery Chashma, blocking the movement of traffic.
He said that men and machinery have been put into service to clear the road.
