Srinagar, Feb 05 (KS) : The authorities announced on Monday that the Srinagar-Jammu national highway, which is the only route connecting the valley with the rest of the world, will be closed for the next 24 hours.
According to a post on X, the deputy commissioner of Ramban, as per news agency Kashmir Scroll, stated that the traffic will be halted for 24 hours starting from Tuesday 8 am until Wednesday 8 am.
“In accordance with safety protocols, there will be a 24-hour traffic halt on Jammu-Srinagar NH-44 tomorrow, February 6, 2024 (Tuesday) from 8 am to February 7, 2024 (Wednesday) 8 am, for road widening at Kishtwari Pathar & Dhalwas. For your safety, please refrain from traveling during this period. Plan your journeys wisely and prioritize safety,” he said. (KS)
