Srinagar, April 22: Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has strongly condemned the arrest of Dukhtaran-e-Millat chairperson Syeda Aasiya Andrabi and her associates, saying that New Delhi through its “oppressive” tactics cannot suppress Kashmiris’ struggle.
JeM spokesperson in a statement issued to news agency GNS said that to raise voice for one’s rights is not a crime in any democratic country, “but India has surpassed all limits of oppression”.
Demanding immediate release of Aasiya Andrabi and her associates, the spokesperson said Jaish-e-Mohammad stands with the people of Kashmir.
“India has to leave Kashmir sooner or later as freedom is our destination,” the JeM spokesperson said. (GNS)
