Awantipora: Police on Friday claimed to have busted two hideouts of Jash-e-Mohammad (JeM) militant outfit in upper reaches of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Police said that to flush out JeM militants from the higher riches in Tral belt and area of Narastan village/surrounding forests a joint search operation was launched by Police Awantipora, 42RR and 180 battalion CRPF.
“During the search operation police and security forces busted two big hideouts in the forest of Narrastan Awantipora Mohammad Zahid Malik told.
These hideouts were built with proper concealment with food material, cooking gas and other arrangements as well.
In the last fifteen days forces have busted three major hides of Jash-e-Mohammad outfit in Tral, police said.
In this regard a case has been registered and the investigation taken up to identity the OGW network which helped them in building these hides, SP said.
