Srinagar: JK cements Employees Association on Saturday held a protest demonstration here in Srinagar demanding release of their three months pending salary and updating of CP fund.
Scores of protesting employees of JK Cements first assembled here in Pratap Park and marched towards the press enclave, chanting slogans “We want Justice”. They also raised slogans against the Managing Director.
The protesters alleged that they face grave injustice.
Javid Ahmad, General Secretary of JK Cements employees Association said “W the permanent employees of the Corporation demand release of three months pending Salary and Updating of CP Fund.”
“From last 40 months our CP Fund is deducted from our salaries, but has not been deposited in the CP Fund. Department welfare fund Rs 300 is regularly deducted from our account but amount is not getting deposited in the separate welfare fund account,” Javid said.
He also demanded the release of 38% DA and 6th pay Commission arrears
