SRINAGAR, JUNE 21: In connection with International Yoga Day J&K Police today organized and participated in Yoga programmes at different Police establishments in which Police personnel and recruits participated.
Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur and Police Training Schools at Manigam, organized special Yoga programmes in order to aware the Police staff and trainees regarding the benefits of the Yoga exercises.
At SKPA Ms Anuja Jasrotia, a Yoga Expert, Therapist and Professional were invited in the Academy to teach Yoga exercises to staff and trainees.
Shri Mohd. Sulaiman Salaria, IPS ADGP, Director SKPA Udhampur in his address briefed the staff and trainees with regard to importance and the objectives of Yoga exercises and benefits thereof. A total of 650 participants including 300 staff members (comprising of all GOs of Police Academy including ADGP, Director Police Academy) and 350 trainees of SKPA Udhampur participated in the International Yoga Day 2019 event and undertook the Yoga exercises.
At PTS Manigam under the supervision of SSP Haseeb Ul Rehman Yoga Day was celebrated with full enthusiasm by the Staff and trainees.
At Leh Yoga Training Session was organised at District Police Lines Leh, Ms Karuna Gohil of Ladakh Public School Leh, imparted Yoga training and also explained their benefits to the participants. Later, an interaction session was also held regarding Yog and its benefits in day to day life.The Yoga training session was attended by Additional SP Leh Sh.Suresh Kumar Chib-JKPS, Dy.SP Hq Leh Ishtyaq A Kacho-JKPS, Dy.SP DAR Leh Suraj Singh besides other police personnel.
At Ramban Gool Police joins the nation in celebrating International Yoga Day on the theme ‘Yoga for Heart’ with the objective ‘Every Jawan Fit and Fine ‘ here in Police Station Complex Gool. The event was organised by SDPO Gool Sh. Rafi Giri and SHO Sh. Nayeem Matoo under the supervision of Addl.SP Ramban Sh.Sanjay Parihar and overall supervision SSP Ramban Ms.Anita Sharma.
