SRINAGAR December 12: With all the districts of Kashmir valley particularly South and North Kashmir kept in readiness to meet any exigency, Police personnel at Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Handwara and Shopian provided helping hands to the commuters whose vehicles had got stucked and also assisted the civil administration in clearing the roads in their jurisdictions.
The SDRF teams and Jammu Kashmir Police / Armed and IRP has been kept in readiness to tackle any exigency in the State.
Pertinent to mention here that Chief Secretary Shri BB Vyas, Home Secretary Shri R.K Goyal and DGP Dr. S.P Vaid yesterday afternoon visited Anantnag, Banihal to access the preparedness for snowfall.
