GANDERBAL, JULY 18: District Office J&K Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes Development Corporation Ltd. today conducted an awareness Camp at Beehama Ganderbal to aware the general public about the welfare schemes Of the Corporation Specially to their target groups viz Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Handicapped Persons (Male members), Safai Karamcharies, And National Minorities (Male members).
Large number of public participated in the Awareness Camp.
On the occasion Deputy General Manager Projects, Mohd Iqbal Kataria, District Manager Ganderbal/Srinagar, Arif haleem Khan, District Social Welfare Officer Ganderbal, Industrial Promotion Officer Ganderbal and Lead Bank Officer Ganderbal highlighted the benefits of the various Schemes of the Corporation, especially Educational loan for students of the target group for pursuing professional and Technical courses in India and abroad.
The District Manager of the Corporation while explaining the details of schemes run by the Corporation urged the people to come forward and get benefited by these schemes. He also laid emphasis on the importance of these schemes in view of growing unemployment and lack of job opportunities.
Information broachers, loan application forms were distributed to the participants for availing soft loan from the corporation.
