“Termed it as baseless and fabricated”
Ganderbal: The Jammu and Kashmir Traffic police has refuted the allegations of lathicharge on driver’s at Famous tourist resort sonamarg here in Central Kashmir’s district Ganderbal and termed it as “fabricated and baseless”.
A video is circulating on social media wherein it’s alleged that traffic police did lathicharge on driver’s at sonamarg, however the news is totally baseless and fabricated, traffic police said.
Dysp Traffic Mehraj-udin-Raina said, a cutoff is basically established for local sumos heading towards baltal at 1900 hrs.
These vehicles if allowed resort to road side parking and thereby making the smooth movement of the down convoy of Amarnath yatra pilgrims is very difficult.
These vehicles are allowed in the next day morning after the down convoy cross.
He said a video which is circulating on social media and run by some social media portals is baseless and fabricated.
