Ganderbal 26 July (KNZ):10 days exhibition is being organized by JKWDC at Yatri Niwas Sonamarg
The exhibition was inaugurated by Sheetal Nanda , Commissioner Secretary to Govt . Social Welfare Department
The chief guest inspected all the stalls and appreciated the outstanding efforts made by JKWDC by organizing such exhibition as well as the products put to sale by the exhibitors .
She impressed upon the exhibitors to up – scale the products manufactured by them so that it could compete in the international market ,
80 women beneficiaries belonging to various Self Help Groups and holding different units financed under NMDFC Loan Scheme from different corners of U.T
While welcoming the chief guest and other dignitaries , Dr. Naheed Soz , Managing Director of the Corporation highlighted the programmes of JKWDC and informed that the aim of conducting such exhibition is to provide marketing support to loan beneficiaries of JKWDC.
Through exhibition not only market support is provided but it also provides an opportunity for mutual interaction among co beneficiaries
This also becomes opportunity for the beneficiary to hold the Buyer & Seller Meet in order to tap international market .
The inaugural ceremony was attended by District officers of all the districts of JKWDC
