Srinagar, Oct 16 (KS) : The police in Srinagar district of central Kashmir have apprehended three local miscreants involved in gate-crashing, creating a ruckus, and misbehaving with women during a marriage function in the city.
A police officer told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that the miscreants, identified as Tahir Shiekh, Mehrajuddin Shiekh, and Danish Qayoom, all residents of Gath colony, were promptly arrested following the incident.
According to a police official, the case has been registered under FIR no. 139/2023 U/S 147, 323, 354, 392, 427 IPC at the Safakadal police station.
He said police have initiated a thorough investigation into the matter to ensure justice is served. (KS)
