Ganderbal 23 April【KNZ】:Students of Govt Higher Secondary School Kangan hold Peaceful Protest rally on Monday in Kangan area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District.
They demanded justice against Brutal Rape and Murder of the 8 year’s Old innocent girl Aasifa from Kathua Jammu.
Scores of students including Girl students marched from the campus to the main Market Kangan and staged sit on road for some time without disturbing traffic movement in the area.
The protesters demanded death to the guilty in the horrifying gangrape and subsequent murder of an eight-year-old girl in Kathua district of Jammu region earlier this year.
The students were seen holding placards in their hands, showing different messages calling for justice in the Kathua rape and murder case.
When the protesters reached near Degree College Kangan they were joined by the students of the college and returned to main market Kangan and staged sit-in at main Chowk on Srinagar Leh highway and blocked the busy highway for half an hour.
Later police reached the spot and chased the protesting students and restored the traffic on the highway.KNZ
