All Parties Hurriyat (M) Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Sunday while commenting about the killing of Saima said that ‘our women and children too are not spared’.
In a tweet, Mirwaiz said: “Deeply grieved by the death of teenaged Saima Wani of #Shopian who was battling for life for the past two weeks in the hospital shot at with impunity in the head by the Indian forces !Our Women and children too not spared !”*
Saima Jan, sister of slain militant Sameer Wani, who was injured in forces firing on January 24 has succumbed to injuries at SKIMS, Hospital in Srinagar on late Saturday evening.
She had sustained injuries after forces had fired upon the protesters during the gunfight at Chaigund.
Thousands of people on Sunday morning participated in her funeral.
