Ganderbal 02 Aug (KNZ): Today Kashmir News Zone-KNZ carried story on unsafe food in Truma hospital Kangan,Authorities came into action
As Per the directions of Worthy SDM Kangan ,the Food Safety Officer Kangan Mr Fayaz Ahmad today inspected a Resturant namely Azad Hotel & Restaurant on Complaint Basis.
On the complaint of patient food sample was checked in Trauma hospital Kangan in Ganderbal District shockingly it was found contaminated.
Azad Restaurant is Surving Food to the Trauma Hospital Kangan under Ayushmaun Bharat Scheme.
During inspection two Prepared Food Samples Viz Mutton Gravey & Kabab were lifted for Chemical Analysis.
Moreover, the FBO was directed to maintain hygiene & Sanitation in the Kitchen & make it fully tilled within 7 days.
However all Spices were destroyed on Spot Which were not Stored Properly.KNZ
