JAMMU, AUGUST 27: Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Gani Kohli, today visited various areas of Kalakote Constituency, including Taryath, Treduimoglar and Meska, and took stock of ongoing developmental works there. Member Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma accompanied the Minister.
During their visit to the Constituency, the Minister and MP laid the foundation of a 45-meter steel bridge at Kalada Kharsu village in Moglar block. The bridge will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.63 crore and will benefit five Panchayats of the Constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, Kohli said the State is heading towards new heights of prosperity and development under the present coalition government. He said many developmental initiatives are underway to improve socio-economic condition of the people.
Kohli thanked the MP for his visit to the Constituency and his support for development and prosperity of the Kalakote Constituency.
Addressing the gathering, Jugal Kishore said various initiatives are underway to increase employment opportunities for the people of the Constituency.
On the occasion, he announced three ambulances, including one each for Chak Mathyani, Kalakote and Gundha health centres in the Constituency.
The MP said the PDP-BJP coalition government in the State has prioritized the needs of common masses and has introduced a number of landmark programmes and schemes for welfare and prosperity of the State.
