KULGAM : Police Station Behibagh on June 30, 2021 recieved a written complaint for assistance from a complainant stating that his minor daughter (name withheld) was kidnapped.
Taking cognizance of the incident a Case with FIR No. 35/2021 U/S 363, 366-A IPC was registered at Police Station Behibagh and investigation was initiated in the instant manner.
Accordingly a team led by SHO Behibagh Insp. Sabzar Ahmad under the supervision of DySP PC Hatipora Shri. Arif Hussain-JKPS was constituted to rescue the kidnapped girl and to nab the kidnapper, by using all available means investigating team recovered the kidnapped girl and arrested the accused.
After fulfilling all medicolegal formalities the girl was handed over to her legal heirs.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
