Kulgam 12 June: Police Station Manzgam today received a written complaint for assistance from a complainant stating that his daughter (name withheld) had been kidnapped by one person namely Mudasir Ahmad Ganie S/O Bashir Ahmad Ganie R/O Prayer Pulwama.
Acting promptly, a team headed by SHO Manzgam Insp. Salinder Singh under the supervision of SDPO DH Pora Shri. Shabir Ahmad was constituted to rescue the kidnapped girl and to nab the kidnapper.
Utilizing all available means, with strenuous efforts specific information was generated by the investigating team which led to the rescue of the Kidnapped girl. After fulfilling all medico-legal formalities the rescued girl has been handed over to her legal heirs and efforts are been made to nab the culprit who is still at large.
Regarding the incident, Case with FIR No. 50/2021 U/S 366 IPC stands registered in police Station Manzgam and investigation is in progress.
