Kulgam, Feb 4: Alleging politico-police nexus, the alleged Kulgam sex scandal victim on Sunday made stark revelations.
Talking to Early Times, the teenage girl said that she believes many high profile people including politicians and police officers are involved in the scandal.
The victim girl said that she can identify the people who sexually abused her multiple times at a hotel in Jammu.
Narrating her ordeal, she said, “At first daughter of lady became my friend. One day she took me to her home as she too had stayed at my home earlier. During night, they gave me some pills and an unknown man staying there did whatever he wanted as I felt unconscious. Later I came to know that they have made a video of the whole act.”
The girl said that the accused lady used to blackmail her on the pretext that she would upload the video on Facebook. “I travelled to Jammu six times. We stayed in a hotel there. Every time lady and her daughter were accompanying me,” victim confessed and said that it wasn’t only she who was being transported to Jammu but there were many other girls as well.
She said that one of the molester, who sexually abused her in the hotel, introduced himself as a police officer. “I can recognize him,” she added.
Victim revealed that she was told by the accused lady to visit a sitting PDP legislator as well.
“She (accused lady) told me to visited ****** Shab but I refused,” she added.
Victim’s mother demanded justice and stern punishment to the accused.
“I will end my life if the accused aren’t given stern punishment,” she threatened.
She alleged that the accused lady in police station was threatening the family at behest of a PDP legislator.
Meanwhile, Kulgam Police said that a a Special Investigative Team (SIT) has been constituted to probe the case. “Case FIR No 27/2018, U/S 363,120B, RPC has been registered at police station Kulgam and investigation has been taken up. A special investigation team (SIT) has been formed by by SSP Kulgam under the supervision DySP Hqrs Kulgam to investigate the case swiftly and professionally,” police said in a statement.
Statement said that on 29th of January Police station Kulgam received a written complaint from one person name withheld R/O Chehllan that his minor daughter was kidnapped by one Shabir Ahmed Itoo S/O Ab Ahad Itoo R/O Hanned Chowalgam on 21/01/2018 in connivance with one lady. On receipt of the information Police Kulgam swung into action and recovered the girl within 24 hours and arrested three accused.
