Ladakh:In a significant milestone towards digital transformation, the IT Department of Ladakh signed an agreement with Common Service Centre(CSC)-SPV to roll out E-Sign, a digital signature service that will enable government departments and officers to sign documents electronically using Aadhar eKYC.
E-Sign is poised to revolutionize administrative processes by Ensuring Transparency and Authenticity, Reducing Paperwork and Promoting Digital Inclusion
The agreement was signed by Ms. Shashanka Ala, IAS, Secretary Information Technology, Administration of Ladakh and Mr. Faizan M. Khan, GM/State Head, J&K and Ladakh CSC-SPV, marking a new chapter in Ladakh’s e-governance journey.
This initiative underscores Ladakh’s commitment to modernizing its governance framework and fostering a digitally inclusive ecosystem.
