Srinagar:The traffic has been suspended on Srinagar-Jammu highway due to landslides.
An official said that decision regarding allowing the movement of traffic on the Srinagar-Jammu highway shall be taken in a meeting.
“Due to occurring of landslide at Anokhfall, Srinagar-Jammu Highway has been closed for movement of traffic. Decision regarding allowing the movement of traffic on the NHW shall be taken after the road is cleared off by the concerned road maintenance agency and after assessing weather/road condition itself,” said the official.To get status of the NHW, Traffic Control Units at Jammu, Ramban and Srinagar could be contacted.
