Srinagar, Nov 29 : Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) on Thursday paid tributes to slain Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militants Commander Adil Hizbi and Engineer Adnan who were killed in a gunfight today.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, LeT spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznawi while quoting the outfit chief, Mahmood Shah as saying “the demise of India is inevitable.”
“The pace with which the indigenous freedom struggle of Kashmir is continued and that Indian forces are using their last of resources and tactics, all such efforts are evident to the fact that the defeat of India is not far,” he said.
Attributing the ‘martyrdom as of pivot towards the freedom’, Shah said that “the youth are competing against guns with stones and still Indian forces are biting the dust.”
Reacting on the statement given by Bipin Rawat on drone attacks, Shah said that “such statements are proportional to confessing the defeat of Indian forces. Bipin Rawat has suffered enough disgrace that they are resorting to using drones against stone pelters. This statement is evident to the fact that the Indian army chief has suffered from severe demotivation and cowardice.
Threatening us with death is a fool’s act.”
“India has no tendency to use drones against us because they know that they will never be able to bear the consequences. The battlefield is equal for its competitors,” he said.
Shah condemned the shelling and firing of forces on the funeral procession of Meraj Ahmed and said that “India has fallen into pits of cowardice that they are targeting the funeral processions. This is an ultimate act of cowardice. The international human rights organizations must take notice of the India’s atrocities and severe human rights violations.” (KNS)
