Srinagar, Feb 12: Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Mehmood Shah on Monday paid tributes to militants killed in an encounter with government forces at Sunjwan army camp, Jammu.
Lashkar spokesperson Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi in a statement issued to a local news agency GNS quoted Shah as saying, “Indian forces only know how to spill the blood of innocent Kashmiris but the same forces pick their dead in any fight against the freedom fighters. This is the bitter truth India wants to hide from its nation.”
“Despite the claims of ‘Operation All Out’ by Ajit Doval, Rajnath Singh, Narendra Modi and Bipin Rawat, the Indian forces are biting the dust, be it in the form of bullets by freedom fighters or stones thrown at them by people,” the spokesperson quoted LeT chief as saying.
“Indian forces are not equipped with the knowledge of war tactics, the evidence being the Sunjwan army camp where a handful of freedom fighters held their stronghold for several hours. It is the Indian forces who are used to picking up their dead for several consecutive days.”
“The freedom fighters of Lashkar-e-Taiba continue to seize control of the stronghold in Karan Nagar (Srinagar). If India has any guts to face the Mujahideen, we invite you to fight! But we believe that it is the worst coward military army in the world,” Lashkar chief said in a statement. (GNS)
