Ganderbal Oct 05[KNZ]: A youth was mistaken last evening beaten up in Kujar area in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District on suspicious that he was a braid Chopper.
According to report locals of Kujar area caught hold of a youth who alleged was a braid Chopper, on getting information a police team reached the spot and suspicious person was brought into the custody.”
SSP Ganderbal in a press briefing said, “after preliminary questioning, it became clear that the youth Muzaffar Ahmad Wani hailing from Khalmulla Ganderbal had gone there to meet his girlfriend resident of Nunar Ganderbal presently residing in the house of her sister at Kujjar Ganderbal where he was spotted and taken as a braid chopper.”
An FIR 202/2017 U/S 147, 323, 341 RPC was registered and further investigation into the matter is going on, police said.
