Srinagar: A youth was killed in north Kashmir’s Handwara area of district Kupwara.
According to reports Owais Ahmad a resident of Manigam area was injured after being forces opened fire after youth pelted stones in Mandigam area of Qaziabad Handwara.
Mir S/o Mushtaq Ahmad resident of Mandigam Qaziabad was injured during clashes in Mandigam area.
As per reports youth threw stones as the forces were leaving the area after voting was over to which the forces retialated with fire.
Mir was rushed to SDH Kralgund where doctors referred him to Handwara in critical condition. Owais was declared brought dead by doctors in Handwara Hospital.
They said clashes erupted after the polling staff was leaving the area.
