Maha Shivratri celebrated with religious fervour in Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 21 (KNS): Hundrends of devotees today paid obeisance at Shankaracharya Temple in Srinagar, on the day of Maha Shivratri. Locals also performed ‘havan’ on the day.

A good number of army personnel were also seen offering prayers in the temple. Maha Shivratri celebrates grand marriage of Lord Shiva with goddess Parvati. Festival is celebrated nationwide with great fervour.(KNS)
