Ganderbal 16 Dec【KNZ】 :Manasbal Soccer League-2017 organized by District Police Ganderbal has been inagurated today at Sainik School Manasbal Ground in Ganderbal District.
The Manasbal Soccer League-2017 was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Mr Piyush Singla and SSP Ganderbal Mr Fayaz Ahmad Lone and also Senior police,Civil Admistrative and security officers besides other dignitaries were present during the opening ceremony at Sainik School Manasbal Sports Ground.
Eight teams participated in Manasbal soccer league-2017,FC Lar and FC Safapora played opening ceremony match.
On the occasion SSP Ganderbal Fayaz Ahmad Lone while speaking on the occasion thanked the participant and requested them to join hands with police in order to create peaceful atmosphere in the district.
He further said that the main aim to organize such programs is to provide a platform to the talented youth and to advocate sports curriculum in the district and to outreach the areas where avenues are not available but talent is visible.
SSP Ganderbal assured the participants that such programs shall be organized in future too to capitalize the talent of youth at State and National level.
Meanwhile Ganderbal police recently granted amnesty to 176 youth of the district involved in stone-pelting cases in the unrest of 2016 and 2017.
