Ganderbal 23 Jan【KNZ】 : On the directions of SDM Kangan,market checking was intensified under the supervision of Naib-Tehsildar, FCS & CA Dept. And also Food Safety Officer kangan conducted checking of main market’s Kangan In Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District
During the drive a penal sum of Rs 2200 was recovered as a fine from shopkeepers for violation of the Essential Commodities & Food Safety Act 2006, besides huge quantity of rotten vegetables,fruits and other food items were destroyed.Also huge quantity of polythene recovered on spot
The SDM Kangan directed the concerned officers to intensify the market checking to ensure quality products are made available to the consumers
The team also asked the shopkeepers to put on display the approved rate lists of their items.
