Administrative council already approved the proposal Property Tax: Chairman MC Ganderbal Adv Altaf

Ganderbal 04 Feb (KNZ):Municipal Council Ganderbal will implement property cum commercial tax in main town Ganderbal on commercial buildings from 01 April 2023.
According to reports said that the MC Ganderbal headed by Chairman Adv Altaf Ahmad conducted a meeting with Executive Officer along with 12 councillors and passes a resolution to implement the property tax in municipal area of Ganderbal.
Many Councillors and social activists from Ganderbal said we are against this tax and demand to revoke this order immediately
They also said people is also in stress due to COVID and other issues
Chairman Municipal Council Ganderbal Adv Altaf Ahmad talking to Kashmir News Zone-KNZ,said that the administrative council already approved the proposal with the direction that the Property Tax, which will take effect on 1st April 2023
He said that it’s Only for commercial purpose and appealed locals to cooperate with Municipal council Ganderbal.KNZ
