Srinagar: A fresh spell of rain is expected in J&K on May 10, an official from Kashmir’s meteorological department said on Friday.
“Moderate rain is expected from May 10 till May 15 in many parts of the valley,” he said.
Srinagar, the summer capital of the state recorded 12.9 Celsius temperature today, while the mercury at Qazigund in south Kashmir settled at 10.2 degrees Celsius.
Gulmarg, the famous skiing resort in north Kashmir, recorded a low of minus 3.0 degrees Celsius while night temperature at Pahalgam – the famous health resort settled at 7.4 degrees.
Kokernag town recorded 10.8 degrees Celsius while Kupwara town in north Kashmir registered 9.9 degrees Celsius last night.
