Poonch Oct 31 [KNZ] : An official said that Pakistani army resorted to firing in Karmara sector of Poonch, resulting into injuries to a minor girl.

A minor girl was injured after the armies of India and Pakistan exchanged fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.

An official said that Pakistani army resorted to firing in Karmara sector of Poonch, resulting into injuries to a minor girl.

The injured girl was identified as Gulnaz Akhtar, daughter of Muhammad Nazir, a resident of Karmara.

She was shifted to a hospital for treatment, said the official.

He said that Indian army retaliated effectively and strongly.
