Srinagar, Jan 13 :- Moderate Hurriyat Conference (HC) chairman Mirwaiz Moulvi Umar Farooq remained under house arrest since Friday evening in the summer capital of Srinagar.
Meanwhile, there was no relief for chairman of hardline HC Syed Ali Shah Geelani who remained under house arrest.
A spokesman for the HC said security forces and police personnel have been deployed outside the Nigeen house of Mirwaiz last evening. The amalgam chairman was informed that he cannot leave till further orders since he has been again put under house arrest.
