Baramulla, July 5, KNT: A rescue team retrieved the body of a man who had drowned yesterday in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The victim has been identified as Suhail Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Majeed Bhat, a resident of Badmulla.
The father had reported at the concerned police station that his son left home on Monday late afternoon and didn’t return. He had added that during the search operation they found his shoes near Namblan Sheere waterfall and it looks like he has drowned while taking a bath.
Shortly after this Police and SDRF teams launched an operation and today morning, the body was retried from the same waterfall.
After the completion of required formalities, the body was handed over to the family for the last rites. (KNT)
