SRINAGAR, AUGUST 27: A day-long Majlis-e-Hussaini (AS) was held by the Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association (JKSA) at Mulashulla Beerwah in Budgam. Hundreds of devotees from different parts of the Valley participated in the Majlis.
Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services & Sports, Molvi Imran Raza Ansari, who is also the President of the JKSA, presided over the convention and addressed the gathering on the occasion.
Molvi Ansari threw light on life and teachings of Imam Hussain (AS) and called on the people to follow the path and teachings of Islam.
While paying tributes to the martyrs of Karbala, he said the martyrs of Karbala have set an example before the people and their sacrifice will inspire people forever.
Ansari also prayed for peace and prosperity of the State.
