Anantnag: A most wanted drug peddler was arrested and 102 kgs of fukki has been recovered in karikadal Bijbehara area of South kashmirs Anantnag district on late Friday evening. An police official said.
He said that On the directions of SSP Anantnag Imtiyaz Hussain a team lead by SDPO Bijbehara and station house officer (SHO) of police station (PS) bijbehara during naka arrested a drug peddler identified as javaid Ahmad Rather s/o Mohammad Abdullah Rather resident of Waghama and recovered 102 kgs of fukki from his procession near karikadal area of Bijbehara.
During naka a vehicle bearing registration number JK13 9951 were stopped and searched and found 102 kgs of fukki on vehicle.
Later the vehicle were seized and a case under relevant sections has been registered and further investigations taken up.
