Ganderbal:[KNZ] 26-year-old mother of three children was allegedly beaten to death by her husband at Prang area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday.
The parents of the deceased alleged that Sakeena Bano (26) w/o Mohammad Maqbool Baniya fell unconscious after she was allegedly beaten by her husband on some domestic issue and a day before.
They said that she was rushed to SKIMS Soura where she breathed her last early today.
Body has been taken to sub District Hospital Kangan for autopsy and legal formalities are under process.
Police said that they have detained husband of the deceased for questioning and have taken up the investigation.
“It is premature to say about cause of her death, we are waiting for post mortem report,” concerned SHO said.
