Ganderbal 18 June (KNZ):A 21 year old motorcyclist was killed and pillion was critically injured in a road accident in Lar Bypass area of Central Kashmirs Ganderbal district on Tuesday evening.
According to reports that a tipper bearing registration number JK03/7541 hit a motorcyclist bearing registration number JK01AA/5371 at Lar Bypass resulting on-the-spot death of motorcyclist and injuries to pillion.
The deceased identified as Uzair Ahmad Lone Son of Showkat Ahmad Resident of Duderhama Ganderbal.
The injured identified as Ubaid Ahmad Son of Mohd Yousuf Bhat was immediately taken to a local hospital from where he was referred to SKIMS Soura hospital in a critical condition.
Police have registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident, they said, adding the tipper driver has been arrested.KNZ
