Srinagar: In a press release Mr Javid Ahmad Dar, Ex-MLA rafiabad and district president NC expressed his grief and sorrow over recent killings in Shopian , he said there is exoneration within the ranks of army which is duly facilitated by government.
Meanwhile, lashing out at PDP led government, he said that they should rein in their legislators from making provocative statements and condemned BJP MLA Ravinder Raina’s statement terming it as false justification for an inhuman act.
He further stated, that on one hand the state government has announced a magisterial probe and on the other hand its MLA’s go on record saying that FIR’s don’t stand validated against armed forces. Such statements are more of an encouragement for those indulging in cold blooded murder of our people and depiction of a wide ideological gap between the coalition partners. ‘When you have such ideological differences how can one assure a fair outcome’, he emphasised.
Terming the recent developments by the state government as a mere eyewash to fool and pacify people, he said it doesn’t make any sense for setting up a magisterial level probe when there is already an FIR filed against the culprits. The government should come clean on what has been the outcome of earlier probes and investigations ordered by them. Those involved in this heinous crime should be brought to justice and the killing spree should stop.
