Municipal polls: BJP candidate dies of heart attack after casting vote in Banihal

Banihal:- A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from ward two of Banihal municipality in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir suffered cardiac arrest on Wednesday.

Reports said that the candidate, Azad Singh Raju died soon after casting his vote at Sunaari mohallah in the ongoing second phase of municipal elections.

Meanwhile, over 12 per cent votes were polled in four wards of Banihal till 8 am. (GK)
