Srinagar, Nov 20, KDC: Awami National Conference vice President, Muzzaffar Shah on Friday said that the matter pertaining to abrogation of Article 370 is ‘Subjudice’ and passing remarks over it amounts to the contempt of court.
Shah according to the news agency KDC was responding to the statement of BJP leader and its national spokesperson Shanawaz Hussain, which he gave during a press conference in Srinagar on Friday, in which he said no power on earth can restore Article 370 and is not subjudice.
“Is Shahnawaz Hussain going to decide on it or the Supreme Court?” Muzzaffar Shah said.
He said Cheif Justice of India should take suo-moto cognizance against Shahnawaz Hussain for belittling the highest court of the country.
“Supreme Court and people of Jammu and Kashmir will decide on Article 370 and 35-A and not Shahnawaz Hussain,” He said.
“Article 370 was, is and will always remain alive. Article 370 and 35-A is the heartbeat of people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh” he said.
Lashing out at BJP’s Ravinder Raina over his recent remarks that every political leader of J&K will be made to chant “Jai Shri Ram” today or tomorrow, Muzzafar Shah advised Raina to come the valley, so that he will make him chant ” Allah u Akbar”. (KDC)
