Ganderbal 25 Sep (KNZ): Today evening a heavy storm hit Kangan. Due to the strong winds Kangan market witnessed heavy damage to property of local vendors and the debris, which flew blocked the National Highway.
Two teams of 34 Assam Rifles on recieving the information immediately rushed to the spot. The army personnel equipped with road clearance equipment immediately cleared the National Highway alongwith the locals.
Local vendors and populace appreciated the timely efforts by 34 Assam Rifles and expressed their gratitude towards army for standing by their side during such difficult times.KNZ
