Baramulla, Oct 03 : The people of Drangbal Baramulla have long been facing a lack of adequate healthcare facilities. Years ago, a slaughterhouse was built in the area with a significant investment, but it was neglected over time and eventually fell into ruins.
However, in recent years, the district administration decided to repurpose the building as a dispensary, which was welcomed by the local community.
Unfortunately, the dispensary has yet to be completed and is once again becoming neglected.
The residents of Drangbal have appealed to the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Baramulla to expedite the completion of the dispensary so that the community can benefit from essential healthcare services.
When contacted, the Chief Medical Office (CMO) of Baramulla stated that the DC has officially handed over the slaughterhouse building to the health department, and work on the dispensary will begin soon to make it functional for the public.
