Ganderbal 07 April (KNZ): Primary Health Centre Wussan and local houses damaged due to short-circuit in LT and HT lines at Wussan area of Kangan in Ganderbal district here on Tuesday late evening
The locals alleged that the electric wires were worn out and not maintained properly.
Many persons near the test lab of PHC Wussan had a miraculous escape.
According to locals the HT and LT line collided with each other resulting in damage to hundreds of electronic devices including TV, Refrigerators, Geysers, Air Conditioners and Ceiling fans.
The residents claim that the wrong and cheap equipments were laid which didn’t bear the load and were damaged.
They demanded action against the erring officials and compensation against the electronic, electrical damaged during this short circuit.
When Kashmir News Zone Contacted STD EXN Aftab Ahmad he said we will ascertain the facts and necessary action will be taken.
They also appealed the Chief Engineer PDD and Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal to look into the matter.KNZ
